My friend recently bought an electric cigarette, I’m looking to buy one also, but he doesn’t like his brand (says he can suck nicotine juice through filter). I’m wondering which brand or model I should get, not looking to pay over 100 dollars, what should I get?
Hi, did you post this question twice? Well, I am going to answer it the same way.
Your friend should be very careful with nicotine solution coming out of the cartridge. After all nicotine should be consumed in the right dosage. Your friend should contact the seller about the cartridge issues.
Finding the best ecig is not simple because it depends on you, your preferences, your budget, and which features are right for you. Once you decide on the features then you can pick the right e-cigarette. Take a look at this buying guide:

It will help you choose and it also features ratings and reviews from users.

Everytime I read an article about the electronic cig its bad because of the nicotine. I was wondering about the flavored non nicotine cartridges, noone talks about them. Thanks!
Nicotine isn’t necessarily bad for us if used responsibly. It is no worse than caffeine when used in moderation. Unfortunately, the delivery system (the tobacco cigarette) is what is bad for us.
There have been tests done on the eliquids and all testing thus far has shown that the liquid is safe. All of the ingredients found within are all deemed safe by the organizations world wide. If you are allergic to propylene glycol, the liquid might be a concern for you. The allergic reaction is hives. So if you get hives, stop esmoking!
Since this is obviously a new product and long term tests have not been done, there is still the question of what happens with long term use. However, these have been on the market for over two years and there is yet to be a death or major injury reported. People have reported allergic reactions to the PG, but they simply switch to the vegetable glycerin base and are fine.
There have also been studies done on PG, showing it has some healing qualities.
With everything we know to be true about tobacco cigarettes, many users of the electronic cigarette simply believe that since the e-cig is made of approximately 20 ingredients vs. 1000-4000 (we are still unsure about this since we cannot get an actual ingredient list from cigarette manufacturers), that the risk is worth it.
I live in the USA and I was wondering where to buy electronic cigarette in the USA. I heard that there was a import ban on electronic cigarettes so is there somewhere special I need to go to find out where to buy electronic cigarette in the USA?
Lol at that other guy. Umm some chinese wholesale place did not answer the question.
Anyway back to the question
Do u know where to buy electronic cigarette in the USA?
Yeah I can think of a couple of places off the top of my head. I will find you a site I seen the other day.
If you are looking to buy electronic cigarette in the USA you need to avoid those places overseas then. A month or so ago the gov put a ban on importing electronic cigarettes. Can you really blame them with all the lead paint stuff and everything else you hear about?
But there are a couple of places where you can buy electronic cigarette in the USA. You just have to be picky with where you go and make sure to buy from a company that ships out of the USA.
I have been smoking electronic cigarettes for about a month and have to say I will never change back. No regrets what so ever and I have not touched a tobacco cigarette since.
Here is the site I found the other day. It has lots of info about electronic cigarettes and they know where to buy electronic cigarette in the USA. In fact they only deal with electronic cigarette companies in the USA.

Hope my answer is good enough. Once you get your new electronic cigarette be sure to spread the word about them. They are the best invention in a long time.
I am considering both as they seem to be excellent, easy to use and reliable, but I don’t know which to go with? Also wondering if there is a way to save money on either (ie. coupon code) which might help make my decision easier.
any info about why you would recommend one over the other would be appreciated.
Both are 2 piece ecigs meaning atomizers and cartridges are combined into a cartomizer. Quality wise they are similar. GreenSmoke offers more flavors if you are into that. SafeCig has better/faster customer service. I personally think GreenSmoke is a little hipper than SafeCig.
You can read actual user reviews for both right here.

The site lists coupon code as well …
I’m currently serving and was wondering where I could get free or low cost electronic cigarettes, I’ve read that some companies provide these for free to the military.
I recently bought an Elektro brand electronic cigarette and am taking a trip to Europe. I don’t need my cig on the airplane, so I was wondering if I am allowed to put it in my checked bag.
Things to note:
-I’m flying Air Canada and it says on the site that ionizers are prohibited, but it does say that e-cigarettes are approved as long as you’re not using them.
-I’m not worried about damage to/losing my luggage.
Yes,bringing it with you is fine.
was wondering has anybody tried the electronic cigarette. what would be the best starter kit and did you find it helped you quit smoking?
I have just started using the electric cigarette and was wondering if anyone knew where I could request a catalog for refills on the liquid any help is appreciated
Just hit up one of the forums like e-cigarette-forum.com (ECF) or vapersforum.com (VF) they have links to reputable (for the most part) vendors ECF is pretty much like an e-cig virtual mall.
No matter what anyone tells you, it IS more cost efficient to refill your own cartridges and cartomisers plus you get so much more variety in flavor choices including custom blends.
Also check out the DIY liquid sections in the forums to flavor your own liquids.
Good Luck and happy vaping!
I want to try an electric, smokeless, cigarette.
There seems to be several different varieties.
I was wondering if you, Y!answerers, have tried any of these and would like to share your experiences. What do you like of dislike about the product.
Also, I have heard about free trials on these products. Can you show me where to find them?
thanks canux, I was hoping to hear good experiences. But if the product is not good, I don’t expect I will.
I would recommend you do a little research on them as there are way more than just “several varieties”.LOL There are reviews on youtube and you can read up on them on forums like vapersforum.com and e-cigarette-forum.com there are others out there also. Unbranded forums are an excellent source of info because they aren’t pushing one brand of e-cig on you. You can get info on a wide variety of models from actual users and not salesmen. Models and prices vary a great deal from like for a kit to over 0 so you really want to know what it is you want out of it.
I smoked for over 30 years and had little difficulty switching over to an e-cig and I wasn’t looking to quit. Just to try to cut the costs and or cut down. There is a learning curve with them but you’ll catch on quickly. Especially with help on forums.
If you are dead set on trying one first you might try checking with SmokingEverywhere – I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THEIR PRODUCT – but – see if they have a kiosk in a mall near you. They will let you try it there. DO NOT BUY IT! Its a pretty cheap model at an inflated price but you will get the idea on an e-cig.
And as mentioned – stay away from the free trials or free e-cigs… major rip off. Also deal extreme has some for around .00 – stay away from those too. They usually don’t work at all and isn’t worth the return postage to send it back.
