Can you smoke an electronic cigarette on a Greyhound Bus?

Electronic Cigarette - Q/A 2 Comments »

The electronic cig sellers advertize that you can “smoke anywhere”.. But is this really true?
Thanks!

Benz- Thank you so much. I think I will just see how it goes. I smoke like a freight train right now. My e-cig will be here tomorrow. Mine is black with a blue led, so it does not look like a regular cig. I don’t want to keep sneaking to the bathroom, but I think that at night, if I cover the led, and my seatmate doesn’t mind, I should be ok.

Answer:

I think you will be OK if you do not go crazy with it! I have smoked mine in Dulles Airport, Houston Airport, Charlotte Airport, Wachovia Bank Locations, Supermarkets, the hospital, just about every where. The key is to take a few puffs at a time. You get your nicotine hit and it is absorbed in your lungs (getting you passed your nicotine fit). It is very different than smoking a tobacco cigarette where you need to finish the entire cigarette. In conclusion, I use my electronic cigarette I purchased from smartsmokerusa just about every place I go. I am not sure about the other types (not from smartsmokerusa) and how they work. If it is a sensitive place like an airport I limit myself to a few puffs at a time. Airports have cameras throughout but I think they are not quite sure what I am doing. I take two-three puffs and stick it in my pocket. It is obvious by this move that it is not a lit cigarette. As to the bus, you might want to show it to your seat mate and explain to them how it works and that it is not “second hand smoke” that will impact them. I have found that most people including Docs, Store managers, etc.. have wanted to know where they can get one for themselves or a family member. Be prudent and you should be OK.

I wanted to know what poeple really think about Blu electronic cigarette?

Electronic Cigarette - Q/A 4 Comments »

I was think about buy this thing called “Blu electronic cigarette”.I want to know if there is anyone out there who has bought this electronic cigarette? whats is the pro’s and con’s of this electronic cigarette. Is it easy to switch from really cigarette to electronic cigarette?

Answer:

Before you go spend ANY money on an electronic cig – you really need to educate yourself a little bit. There are MANY different models and prices vary by A LOT.
I’ve heard good and bad things about the Blu. Then there is their TERRIBLE history on shipping.
Check out some vids on you tube – just search electronic cig or e-cig and read some forums. I find forums that are not associated with a specific brand of e-cig to be the most helpful as you get unbiased info on a wide variety of products and vendors. I like Vapersforum.com but there are many others.
There are tons of pros about the e-cig you can read up on those on the forums as I could go on and on and on.
Cons – kind of a PIA sometimes – but its electronic so you have to maintain it: charge the batts all the time etc.
Is it worth it – YES! 36 year smoker here – was off of tobacco cigs within 2 weeks (a good long learning curve) and I wasn’t even planning on giving up cigs – it just happened.
I would highly recommend you check it out.
Good Luck and Happy Vaping!

Does anyone know where to buy the Njoy electronic cigarette?

Electronic Cigarette - Q/A 1 Comment »

I live in the united states, I have been reading about the electronic cigarette and want to try it, I know that costco sells it but there refills are really expensive, does anyone know another retailer that sells it in florida?

Answer:

Try to buy them online. Yahoo shopping, & Amazon.com carry them & other brands the last time I checked. Or, just search for the “e cigarette” blogs & forums for recommendations depending on your tastes.

Has anybody tried the electronic cigarette to stop smoking?

Electronic Cigarette - Q/A 2 Comments »

Njoy I think it’s called. Is it any good, and how long does it take?

Answer:

The question you have to ask yourself is do you really want to quit? The electronic cigarette is not a “quit smoking” device. It is a smoking alternative. Now, do you actually “quit” tobacco? Absolutely. But do you quit smoking? Not really.

About six months ago, I started using my e-cig and still smoking my tobacco. I cut down from a pack a day to 4-6 smokes. About a month and a half ago, I woke up and decided I could just use my e-cig. I have had absolutely no depression, no over eating, none of the “quit” issues.

Is the e-cig a joke? Absolutely not. There are thousands of people who have made the switch and guess what? They are all tobacco free, still enjoying their smokes, and there is no second hand smoke, so it is better for those around you.

My suggestion is you do some research. Look at the different suppliers. Read more. Decide what style you want. Note: Njoy is just a name brand like Marlboro or Camel. Read blogs of people who use them. I love mine. I could not have gone tobacco free without it.

Which Electronic Cigarette is the best for me?

Electronic Cigarette - Q/A 5 Comments »

Hi, I’ve been looking to purchase an e-cigarette from some time now and I’m looking for suggestions. I would like to have one that is under 0, produces a fair amount of vapor, and looks like a real cigarette.

Answer:

There are really only a couple different models of electronic cigarettes out there and all the different brands you see are just those few types in different packaging. What I think is the best one is a Joye 510 (that’s not a brand name, that’s a manufacturer name and model number). Many vendors sell them (sometimes just referred to as the “510″).

Cignot.com has a cheap, no-frills 510 starter kit (only ), but there are other vendors with competitive pricing too. I buy my e-cig parts from Cignot, so I know they’re a very reliable vendor. They also sell a small selection of prefilled cartridges and liquid for refilling, but there are other vendors that sell better liquid (I buy my liquid from JohnsonCreek.com).

There’s a lot to learn when you first get started and lots of vendors. It can be overwhelming and confusing and you can end up spending a lot of money on crappy products if you don’t research a bit first. I recommend spending doing some reading at http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ (I think it’s *the* best message board about e-cgis you’ll find – very informative and everyone is helpful).

Good luck!

Electronic cigarette?

I really need to give up smoking, it is killing me. I heard about these E cigs… I want to give them a try. How much do these cost and where can i buy them. In the store? Do I have to buy online?

Does anyone know how effective these are? I would hate to waste money on something that wont work. I think that if I have the cigarette in hand and feel like I am actually smoking I can kick the unhealthy cigarettes and use these e cigs and save my life… I think that they should start considering putting these in stores across america, this really could help people out.

Answer:

I’ve had an electronic cigarette for about a week, and really like it. I got it at a mall kiosk, and they let me try one before buying. I think it cost about for everything, and I’ve only gone through a couple of the five cartidges.

I really like cigarettes, so I haven’t stopped smoking them, but I have cut _way_ back, and only smoke when I enjoy it.

They do vary in quality. A guy let me take a drag off one he bought on the internet, and it did give more vapor than the one I bought. But I’m very satisfied with mine, and I’ll definitely be “vaping” more than I smoke.

Electronic Cigarette?

I’m not a huge smoker, but I appreciate smoking. Like I bought an old man style pipe, just to see what it was like smoking it. Cigars and hookah’s too. It’s more of a social thing for me. I’m not addicted to cigarettes by any means. And I tried an electronic cigarette at the mall and thought it was really cool, it was kinda like a portable hookah.

Anyways, do you think it would be a good fit for me. It’s rather expensive, and I don’t want to walk around with something that no one else is using, and look like a complete douche, and I don’t want to actually get addicted to nicotine in the process. I know theres a no nicotine flavor or something like that.

Anyways, do you think it would be a good fit for me?

Thank you

Answer:

If your going to smoke, smoke a pipe. Pipe smoking is a great hobby. The different tobaccos makes smoking fun, you have endless flavors to choose from.

What’s the best kind of electronic cigarette?

Electronic Cigarette - Q/A 2 Comments »

My boyfriend’s birthday is coming up, and I’d like to get him one, because regular cigarette smoke messes with my headaches, and it seems alot safer. I can’t really spend more than on one, but does anyone have any recommendations?

Answer:

You should go to http://www.ecigsavings.com they have reviews on all the top electronic cigarette companies out there. I bought the http://www.ecigsavings.com/volcano-electronic-cigarette-review/ and they do have some starter kits available for less than 50. You may get a little about your 50$ line but only a dollar or two cause of shipping etc. I am in luv with my volcano ecig though. Hope this helps

Can anybody recommend a good and cheap electronic cigarette?

Electronic Cigarette - Q/A 3 Comments »

Hi,

I am looking for a good and cheap electronic cigarette? Any recommendations?

Thanks?

Answer:

The Joye 510 with the manual button. This thing is awesome. My first E-Cig was a big one, the DSE801, it’s a pen style E-Cig and was said to give off the most vapor and last the longest. Well I bought it, and didn’t really like the amount of time it took to charge the battery, I wasn’t impressed with the Flute mouthpiece, it didn’t have the hit I was looking for, and the battery automatically shut off after a 5 second-drag, and you had to wait for the LED to stop blinking before you could take another drag.

The Joye 510 is a smaller E-Cig. The manual button lets me control how long of a drag I want. The vapor it produces is great. I love it! If you use it quite a bit, you get about 90 minutes of use. But you get 2 batteries and each battery only takes an hour to charge. The pen style batteries took 4 hours to charge. I got a car charger for when I’m at work, since I work at locations and use a company vehicle. The 510 also uses less juice than my DSE801, so my juice supply lasts longer.

Never pay over for a starter kit, and never subscribe to a company. Companies want you to subscribe to cartridge purchases, but you never want to do this. You can fill your own cartridges at home, and carry around juice to top off your e-cig at any time. The juice is WAY cheaper than buying cartridges. A fully loaded cartridge lasts about 8 cigarettes. A cartridge costs about , but reloading your own cartridge costs just pennies.

I haven’t heard any reviews of somebody not liking the Joye 510. If you go to awesomevapor.com, Arno is the nicest seller you can ever come across. He has the cheapest supplies and the best customer service around. He also has a 14-day money back guarantee if you don’t like the product. He’s also ECA certified, which is very important. Arno is hands down, THE BEST!
